Day 1: Boarding in Phnom Penh at 14:00

Navigation to Kampong Cham. Enjoy the laid back atmosphere in this little town with plenty of colonial French charm.

Visit of the Koh Paen Island if the bamboo bridge is open, and discovery of rubber plantations.

Day 2: Kratié

Excursion on pirogues. We will go watching the fresh water dolphins of the Mekong. Then the journey continues to amazing Koh Trong Island, in the middle of the river where are grown the best grapefruits of Cambodia.

Day 3: Chhlong

Little town with remaining colonial buildings and the “1 000 pillars house”. Stop-off in the 1916 Chhlong posthouse, built by Chinese merchants.
Koh Dach, is an island in the middle of the Mekong, well-known for its silk-weaving villages and is an oasis of tranquillity.

Day 4: Koh Dec Chau

Another island, with noodles as a specialty.
All meals on board.
 

Day 5: Navigation to S'Ang on the Bassac

Visit of the country sights amid orchards, sugarcane fields and bamboo plantations.
Navigation late afternoon in order to view the Phnom Penh sights by night.
All meals on board.
 

Day 6: To Koh Chen

Superb little island with craftsmen whose trades have not change for centuries.
In Kampong Tralach, stroll through the paddy fields to the beautiful Vihara of Kampong Tralach Leu pagoda.
Enjoy a diner with the inhabitants.
All meals on board (except for the diner).
 

Day 7: Kampong Chhnang

The busy little harbor on the Tonle Sap gets its name from the pottery workshops. Their production is sold throughout Cambodia.
Visit of the floating village of Chnok Tru on small boats. Chnok Tru is a seldom visited village where Vietnamese originated fishermen live in complete autarky.

Day 8: On the Tonle Sap lake

The Tonle Sap, main lake of Cambodia, with waters rising from 2 to 11 meters and a surface quadrupled between August and January.
Crossing of the lake and easy life on board until arrival to the Siem Reap pier around noon and transfer to the city center.

Day 1: Siem Reap - Chnok Tru

Meeting at 8:00 am in the FCC Hotel in Siem Reap and embarking Le Tamarin from Siem Reap pier to cross the Tonle Sap lake.
The Tonle Sap, main lake of Cambodia, with waters rising from 2 to 11 meters and a surface quadrupled between August and January.
Visit of the floating village of ChnokTru on small boats. ChnokTru is a seldom visited village where Vietnamese originated fishermen live in complete autarky. Enjoy your diner while cruising towards Kampong Chhnang.
According to the water level, the crossing will be by speed boat or bus.

Day 2: Kampong Chhnang - Kampong Tralach

Visit of Kampong Chhnang, a busy little harbor on the Tonle Sap which gets its name from the pottery workshops. Their production is sold throughout Cambodia.

Day 5: Koh Dach - Chhlong
